In view of the coronavirus epidemic, the Petőfi Literary Museum and its affiliates are closing their exhibitions and research services for an indefinite period starting on 17 March 2020. All previously announced programmes and events have been cancelled.

When it becomes possible to re-open, we will inform the public immediately.
For the period of enforced closure, the museum will operate through digital interfaces. We will be constantly updating and adding to the digital content on the museum's website, Facebook page, Instagram and YouTube.
Our museum educators are working on exciting online content for school teaching, and the teaching of Hungarian language and literature.
