JEPS SPECIAL ISSUE ON THE CENTER-PERIPHERY DYNAMICS OF THE PRESS

The special issue based on the 2022 Budapest conference of the European Society for Periodical Research, co-organized by the Kassák Museum and the Central European Research Institute for Art History is now published! The Journal of European Periodical Studies (JEPS) 9.1 (2024) explores the theme of center and periphery in periodicals from the early modern period to the present day. The articles cover a range of fascinating topics, including Latin-language periodicals in the Kingdom of Hungary, a German-language anti-Nazi newspaper in Paris (edited by none other than Emil Szittya, Lajos Kassák's mentor-turned-opponent), and Arabic-language women's magazines in the Middle East.
