The Hungarian government has declared a state of emergency in response to the coronavirus epidemic. At its meeting on 11 March 2020, the government put an immediate ban on any events involving more than 100 persons indoors or 500 persons outdoors.
In view of the government decision as well as the interests and health of the public, we regretfully announce that the Petőfi Literary Museum and its affiliates, including the Kassák Museum, is cancelling all planned indoor events, probably until the end of March.
We will try to rearrange our events after the state of emergency has passed. We will inform museum-goers and the media about our April programme at a later date, and in the meantime, our Facebook page will post continuous updates about developments.
At present, the exhibitions remain open.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
